DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Pride & Joy is a community art show celebrating Indy’s LGBTQ+ artists.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””] \nThe Athenaeum’s Christel DeHaan ArtSpace is proud to host this exhibition of artwork from Indy-local members of the LGBTQ+ community. The central theme of this exhibition is creative self-expression\, and the diversity within this concept is mirrored by the diversity of our exhibiting artists. This exhibit is free\, open to the public\, and will run from June 5 through the end of July.\n\nArtists of any age who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community are welcome to submit artwork for consideration. 2D and 3D artworks will be considered. Multiple artwork submissions are welcome\, but space is limited.\n\n\n\n\nALL ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS DUE – MAY 15\, by 5PM\n \nARTISTS NOTIFIED OF ACCEPTANCE STATUS – MAY 23 \n \nOPENING GALLERY RECEPTION – JUNE 5\, 6-8PM \n\n\n\nThe exhibit kicks off on the First Friday of June with a special reception from 6pm to 8pm.
