Help us keep Indy’s Best Haus Party running smoothly!

Join us on October 7 for the 15th annual GermanFest 

Volunteers are at the heart of making this event all it can be. When you sign up for a 3-4 hour volunteer shift, you receive free admission to the event in your off-time, a free volunteer t-shirt, and a free commemorative stein. Wunderbar!

Merchandise/Info Booth
Bartender (must have permit)
Wiener Dog Races & Games
General Event Support

About GermanFest

Again this year, we’re taking GermanFest to the streets! Michigan and New Jersey Streets surrounding the Athenaeum (401 E. Michigan Street) will be closed to the public as we fill them with the tradition and culture of our German ancestors. With plenty of food, drinks, music, and games, this is a party you won’t want to miss!

There’s something for everyone at GermanFest:

Got some little ones at home? Bring the Kinder and enjoy some arts & crafts!

Show everyone that your furry friend belongs in the Wiener’s circle in an iconic race to be crowned “top dog!”

Feeling hungry? Bring your appetite and enter our returning brat eating contest!

Feed your body with some classic German fare and feed your soul with two stages of live music and entertainment!

Did we mention das Bier???

Registrations for the brat eating contest and the wiener dog races will be available when you purchase your tickets!

Don your dirndls and lederhosen or just come as you are on Saturday, October 7th!
