The Indiana Drama Club is a non-profit organization focused on offering high-quality theater education and hands-on experiences to students in grades 6 through 12. Our mission is to ensure these opportunities are accessible to participants at little or no cost.
We want to bridge the gap between students of different ethnic, socioeconomic and ability backgrounds and believe a key component to accomplishing this is by removing financial barriers. As an organization we have three major programs we use to accomplish our mission.
The Club IDC will first and foremost be a club that meets 3rd Wednesday of every month. Our club, not unlike a school drama club, will provide opportunities for students to interact and grow in their knowledge of the theatre. Our club will also be the home of Indiana Thespian Troupe 10273. Any student between 6th-12th grade who is homeschooled or attends a school without an active troupe, will have the opportunity to be inducted into the International Thespian Society via our club.
Productions IDC is still growing and changing. Each season we produce the following. Check out the Full Schedule to know what is happening each year. - 60 min Play or Musical that is a brand new work that will be submitted to be a part of the IndyFringe Theatre Festival in August. - 1-2 one acts to take to compete as part of Thespian Regional Play Competition - Full Musical or Play
