The Athenaeum’s Christel DeHaan ArtSpace is proud to host an annual exhibition of artwork from Indy-local members of the LGBTQ+ community. The central theme of this exhibition is creative self-expression, and the diversity within this concept is mirrored by the diversity of our exhibiting artists. This exhibit is free, open to the public, and will run through June & July.
Join us July 25, 5:30–9 PM, to celebrate Pride and the contributing artists to this year’s show. We will announce the winner of this year’s People’s Choice Award at the reception!
Make your evening complete with a free film screening of THE PEOPLE’S JOKER (dir. Vera Drew, Not Rated) in the Basile Theatre at 8pm. And be sure to check out the Pop-Up Market at Coat Check Coffee downstairs, with local vendors and a limited coffee/food/cocktail menu from 5:30-9:30pm.
First (and Final) Friday is FREE for all ages to attend, no ticket required. Enjoy free refreshments and a cashless cash bar.
