Max Kade Film Series: Sunset Boulevard (1950)

Sunset Boulevard: In Hollywood of the 50’s, the obscure screenplay writer Joe Gillis is not able to sell his work to the studios, is full of debts and is thinking in returning to his hometown. He is hired to rework a faded silent film star’s script, only to find himself developing a dangerous relationship.

Sunset Boulevard is a 1950 American black comedy film noir directed and co-written by Billy Wilder, and produced and co-written by Charles Brackett.

Sunset Boulevard is rated PG and has a runtime is 70 minutes. This screening will be presented digitally.
