Join us in the Athenaeum’s cozy and historic ArtSpace for an evening of wine pairings and a special presentation from the German Wine Queens. Featuring wine selections from four unique German wineries, this tasting is one you won’t want to miss.

What is a Wine Queen? – Every year, representatives from the thirteen wine regions of Germany compete for the title of Deutsche Weinkönigin, or German Wine Queen. During their one-year appointment, the German Wine Queen and regional wine queens spread the good word of German wines at over 250 special events and wine festivals across the globe!
This February, the Athenaeum welcomes German Wine Queen Katrin Lang, and Baden Wine Queen Jessica Himmelsbach.
