The Athenaeum and Indy Pride are proud to announce the premiere of Free to Be, a collaborative exhibit showcasing art created by members of the local LGBTQ+ community. The exhibit will be open to the public from June 3 until the end of July, with special receptions on Friday, June 3rd and Friday, July 1st.
Submissions are open to any local artist of any age who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Artists are welcome to submit multiple pieces for consideration, but gallery space is limited, so there may not be space for all submissions. Submissions are due by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24th. Artists will be notified by Thursday, May 26th, and installations will take place on May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd.
