On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. At 3:06 PM the moon’s shadow will fall over Indianapolis for just under 4 minutes during the Great American Eclipse. This is truly a breath-taking sight you won’t want to miss–spend the day with us to see the Sun’s corona, while you stand in the shadow of the moon!
General Admission tickets include your own pair of eclipse glasses and a commemorative beer glass. All ages are welcome, student tickets also include a pair of eclipse glasses. At 3:06 PM the moon’s shadow will fall over Indianapolis for just under 4 minutes (3 minutes and 48.7 seconds) during the Great American Eclipse. The partial eclipse will commence at 1:50 PM and conclude at 4:23 PM.
Live Music
Enjoy performances by Phil Perle from The Woomblies from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and My Yellow Rickshaw acoustic duo from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
Food & Drinks
BB&B Bread Truck will be serving up Blackout Korean Corn Dogs and Blackout Brioche Donuts. MJ’s Baking Boutique will be offering some sweet treats: cosmic brownies, sun, moon & stars cookie packs, and paint-your-own cookies for the kiddos! The Rathskeller is open for lunch for orders in the Biergarten.
The Rathskeller bar window will be offering their standard menu along with specialty drinks: In the Path of Totality from Sun King Brewing, Cosmic Horizon American IPA from Guggman Haus Brewing Co., and Obscura from Ash & Elm Cider Co.
