First Friday • Pride & Joy 2026
About the Show:
Pride & Joy is back for its fifth year! The Athenaeum’s Christel DeHaan ArtSpace is proud to host this multi-media exhibition of artwork from Indy-local members of the LGBTQ+ community. The central theme of this exhibition is creative self-expression, and the diversity within this concept is mirrored by the diversity of our exhibiting artists. This exhibit is free, open to the public, and will run from June 5 through the end of July.

Join us Friday, June 5th, 6–8 PM, to explore the show and meet the artists for a First Friday reception. This event is FREE for all ages to attend, no ticket required. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and a cashless cash bar.
If you can’t join us for First Friday, you can enjoy the show by visiting during the operating hours of Coat Check Coffee. The ArtSpace is located on the 2nd floor of the Athenaeum, accessible via stairs or elevator.
