The Athenaeum’s Christel DeHaan ArtSpace is proud to host this exhibition of artwork from Indy-local members of the LGBTQ+ community. The central theme of this exhibition is creative self-expression, and the diversity within this concept is mirrored by the diversity of our exhibiting artists. This exhibit is free, open to the public, and will run from June 6 through the end of July.
Artists of any age who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community are welcome to submit artwork for consideration. 2D and 3D artworks will be considered. Multiple artwork submissions are welcome, but space is limited.
ALL ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS DUE – MAY 16, by 5PM
ARTISTS NOTIFIED OF ACCEPTANCE STATUS – MAY 23
OPENING GALLERY RECEPTION – JUNE 6, 6-9PM
The exhibit kicks off on the First Friday of June with a special reception from 6pm to 9pm. Join us on the Final Friday of July for a closing reception.
